New Jersey SHARES (NJ SHARES) is a statewide nonprofit organization, with their headquarters located in Flemington, New Jersey. With a team of 15 members, the staff at NJ SHARES works to provide help and referral for essential services in all of New Jersey’s 21 counties.

Through advocacy, community outreach, education, referral and the utilization of their multilingual call center, NJ SHARES connects low- and moderate-income households with the available resources necessary to not only address their current situation, but also any ongoing needs. Aiding in this endeavor are the nearly 200 agencies NJ SHARES partners with to ensure access is readily available to those who need it most.

Through NJ SHARES, New Jersey residents can receive help with their utility bill (gas, electric, and water), a discount on their Verizon landline or broadband account, and assistance in identifying lead-based paint hazards in order to eliminate health risks in the home.
