New Service Helps Businesses Get Back to Work
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Hutchinson is offering the “3-step Safe Return to the Office” service to ensure a healthy environment for building occupants. During the shutdown, many businesses adjusted their temperature and humidity control which may have led to mold and other issues.

The 3-step process includes maintaining optimal building performance by making sure HVAC systems are running efficiently, monitoring temperature humidity controls through Wi-Fi Thermostats and increasing outdoor air ventilation. Hutchinson also enhances air quality through air testing, filter upgrades and coil cleaning followed by further testing and cleaning including UV technology to eliminate airborne microbes.

As a long-time Participating Contractor for New Jersey’s Clean Energy (NJCEP) Direct Install Program, Hutchinson provides businesses with a free energy assessment to identify eligible equipment upgrades, including lighting and HVAC.

Direct Install is now paying up to 80% of the cost of energy efficiency upgrades for businesses and local governments. This turnkey project solution is created specifically for small to mid-sized commercial and industrial facilities with an average peak electric of 200 kW or less for the preceding 12 months.

Direct Install is also increasing the incentives and project caps for municipalities and K-12 Public Schools throughout New Jersey. New incentives include:

• up to 80% of total measure cost verses the traditional 70% off
• each project will have a $250k incentive cap verses the traditional $125k
• $4M per FY Entity Incentive cap vs. $250k/$500k
